Obituary of F. Michael Blonde

BLONDE: F. Michael “Mike” – A resident of Blenheim, and formerly of Shrewsbury, Mike Blonde passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus Friday, May 29, 2015 at the age of 75. Born in Chatham, Mike was the son of the late Herbert and Selena (Alexander) Blonde. Beloved husband of 52 years to Mary (nee Lievens). Loving father of Catherine and James Ellis of Midland, Jane and Robert Westhouse of Saskatoon, SK., Dennis and the late Diann Blonde of Blenheim and Tim and Susan Blonde of Blenheim. Dear brother of John and Nancy Blonde of R.R. # 3 Chatham and the late Alec Blonde (2001). Brother-in-law to Suzanna Nelson of Winnipeg, Shirley and Wayne Bennett of Whitby and Frank Lievens of the GTA. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Mike retired from Oxford Automotive after over 35 years of service. He was an active member of the Lion’s Club for many years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment to be held at a later date.
