Obituary of Mabel Elizabeth Jacklin-Erickson

Jacklin Erickson, Mabel Elizabeth Of Chatham, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday June 17, 2015, age 88. Wife of Grainger Erickson and predeceased by her late husband Murray Jacklin (1980). Survived by daughter Noreen (Norb), granddaughter Michelle (Joey), grandson Mike (Becky) and five step-children Ron, Brian, Wayne, Brent and Jolynne and their families. Predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth (nee Cassidy) Murray, by her twin sister Mary Jane, sister Ann and brother Edward. Mabel worked at Bell Canada and volunteered with the IODE, former Branch 28 Legion. She enjoyed playing Euchre and Bridge, curling, dancing and spending time in Florida. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of the Memorial Service at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Saturday June 20, 2015 at 11 a.m.. Burial to be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Mabel may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association by contacting the funeral home.
