Obituary of Anne Maria Beuglet
BEUGLET: Anne Maria "Annie" (VanDeHogen) -
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Beuglet in her own home, on the 21st of June, 2015 at the age of 69. Anne passed peacefully from this world with her daughter by her side. She was welcomed into the heavens from Dawn's caring hands into the arms of her loving son, Michael. Anne will always be remembered as a mother who always put her children first.
Through her faith and determination, Anne fought a brave battle against cancer with grace, never losing hope. Anne continued to live with cancer far longer than expected due to her willingness and courageous effort to be persistent with alternative Naturopathic treatments.
Anne worked as the main secretary and was often referred to as "The Boss " and "The Wonder Woman" of local 127 for 40 years at the CAW/Unifor. Prior to a career at the CAW, Anne had worked at Union Gas for eight years. Commonly known as Annie, Anne had a selfless heart that was full of love.
Born in Nistelrode, Holland, as Johanna Petronella VanDeHogen, Anne Beuglet was the daughter of Franciscus and Anna (Van Aalst) VanDeHogen. Loving mother of Dawn Beuglet-Pidgeon (Kim) of Chatham, and the late Michael Beuglet (1997). Dear sister to Frank VanDeHogen (Carol), Nellie Venclik (Joe), Pete VanDeHogen (Annette) and Joe VanDeHogen (late Helen).
Predeceased by her brothers Adrian VanDeHogen, John VanDeHogen and Martin VanDeHogen (Liz). Survived by her sisters-in-law Anne VanDeHogen and Mary VanDeHogen. Dearly missed by several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Anne worked as the Office Administrator for 40 years at the CAW Local 127/Unifor (She had previously worked at Union Gas for eight years).
