Obituary of Jean Poehlman-Pelfrey

Poehlman-Pelfrey : Jean A resident of Chatham, Jean Pelfrey died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the age of 79. She was born in Port Alma, daughter of the late Charles and Alma (Thibeault) Wilson. Beloved wife of the late Keith Poehlman (1987) and Roy Pelfrey (2003). Cherished mother of Daniel & Shelley Poehlman of Chatham, David & Louise Poehlman of R.R. # 7 Thamesville, John & Barbara Poehlman of Chatham, Carolyn & Greg Faubert of Chatham, Jennifer & Paul Scherle of Chatham. Lovingly remembered by Roy's children; Audrey Pelfrey & Marc Levesque, and Will Pelfrey of British Columbia, and Ron Pelfrey of Brantford. She was very proud of her 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Dear sister of June Buchanan (late Edward) of Blenheim, Joan Foster (Richard) of Charing Cross, and the late Charles Wilson. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Shirley Wilson of Hamilton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jean was an active member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church for many years. She retired from the Provincial Court of Ontario. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. (afternoon only), and Monday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 445 McNaughton Avenue West, Chatham on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
