ROELOFS: Ada (nee Seine) - A resident of Riverview Gardens and formerly of Ridgetown, Ada Roelofs passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the age of 87. Born in Holland, Ada was the daughter of the late Jan and Hendrikje (Donker) Seine. Beloved wife of the late Willem "Bill" Roelofs (2002). Loving mother of Henry Roelofs (Christiane) of Larder Lake, John Roelofs (Donna) of R.R. # 1 Ridgetown and Wes Roelofs (Michelle) of Morpeth. Mother-in-law to Donna Gasparatto of Clachan. Proud grandmother of Kim, Laura, Rebecca, Jeff, Kyle and Jessica. Predeceased by her grandson Chris. Great-grandmother to several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one great-grandson. Ada is survived by one sister in Holland. Predeceased by three sisters and one brother. Also survived by many extended family in Holland. Ada was a member of the First Reformed Church in Chatham for many years. Ada and Bill farmed together for almost 30 years in the former Howard Township. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. An interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 9:45 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at First Reformed Church, 632 Lacroix Street, Chatham at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Barry Wynveen officiating.
