Obituary of Barbara Jean Wardell

WARDELL: Barbara Jean (nee Wiley) - A resident of London, and formerly of Highgate, Barb Wardell passed away at the Parkwood Institute, London with her family at her side on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the age of 67. Barb had recently celebrated her 48th wedding anniversary with Keith on July 8th. Loving mother to Mike Wardell of Sundridge. Dear sister to Bill Wiley of Innisfail, AB, Garry Wiley (Mary) of Schomberg, Glen Wiley (Sharon) of Schomberg, Patricia Wood (Bob) of Bradford and Susan Lawson (Glenn) of Schomberg. Predeceased by her parents, the late Norman and Jean (Wyllie) Wiley. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Barb will be remembered for her community involvement and being a good friend to many. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 with Rev. Wanda Burse officiating. Cremation to follow with an interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown to be held at a later date. Donations made in memory of Barb to the London Health Sciences Foundation (London Regional Cancer Program) or the Erie Street United Church would be appreciated.
