Obituary of Nancy Mae Whaling-Hunter

Whaling-Hunter, Nancy Mae (nee Handley) Of Chatham, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Tuesday August 11, 2015, age 80. Devoted wife of Ross Hunter. Beloved mother of Chuck Whaling (Donna) of Windsor, Carolyn Birkby (Allan) of Chatham, Linda Driessens (Alan) of Chatham, MaryEllen Trepanier (Greg) of Chatham, Christine Myers (Mark) of Chatham, Kerry Henderson (Brian) of Grande Pointe and Kelly Verkaik (Jay) of Chatham. Loving grandmother of eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Garry Whaling, brother Mervin Handley and parents Elsie and Bud Bolton. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Friday August 14, 2015 from 5-8 p.m.. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 10 a.m.. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Nancy may be made to the Outreach for Hunger or All for Kids Program by contacting the funeral home.
