Obituary of Peggy Ileen DeClark

DECLARK: Peggy Ileen (nee Rhea) Age 86 years, born in Chatham on August 17, 1929. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Riverview Gardens. Predeceased by her husband Maurice DeClark on November 10, 1988. Dear mother of only daughter Nancy DeClark and her wonderful husband Raymond Starks of Chatham. She will be sadly missed by Kyle and Brandon her step-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ted & Ruth Anne Rhea of Chatham. Predeceased by sisters Jean Stewart of Ohio, Doris Trudell of Chatham and Donna Guttridge of Merlin, and brothers Lyle Rhea, Doug Rhea, Fred Rhea and Robert Rhea. Nancy, Ray, Kyle, Brandon and Chili would like to give many thanks and blessings to the outstanding service of the nurses and staff of the Third West Floor at Riverview Gardens and Dr. J. Boekhoud (retired) and Dr. Park Parry the Family Physician for their compassionate care and honesty during these difficult years. Many thanks also to all of Nancy’s closest and dearest friends and her co-workers at the Thamesview Centre For Family Medicine, especially Dr. J. Wolting for their kind and loving words of support and friendship during these difficult years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. James Tiffin officiating. Committal service to follow at the St. Anthony's Cemetery Chapel. Donations made in memory of Peggy to CK Animal Rescue or UCB Canada Radio Station would be appreciated.
