Obituary of James Peter Russell

Russell, James Peter A resident of Chatham and formerly Blenheim, Jim Russell passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Sunday August 30, 2015 at the age of 82. Born in North York Township, son of the late Henry & Vera (Thomas) Russell. Beloved husband of Edith (Ceasar) Russell for 63 years. Dear father of Peter Russell, Newmarket; Steve (Monica) Russell, Fort McMurray, Alberta; Michael Russell, Chatham; and Sylvia (Sam) Galea, Port Stanley. Grandfather of Chrissy, Courtney and Justine; and great grandchild Oscar. Brother of Harry Russell, Alliston; Joan (Ray) Jaworuski, Richmond Hill; Alex (Sandy) Russell, Alliston; and Eddie (Sue) Russell, Richmond Hill. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jim was a Past President of the Blenheim Community Golf Club, a past member of the Fort McMurray Rotary Club and very active in and around the Blenheim Community. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Friday September 18, 2015 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
