Obituary of James 'Jim' Christie

CHRISTIE, James 'Jim' A resident of Chatham, James 'Jim' Christie, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus. Born 81 years ago on September 23, 1933, son of the late Reginald & Edith Christie. Loving husband of the late Arlene Christie (2011,Traxler). Cherished father to Janis Christie of Mexico, Andrea LeBoeuf (Tom) of Chatham. Loving grandfather to Nadine, Christy, and Nicholas LeBoeuf. Remembered by his brother Kenneth Christie (Kay) of Windsor, niece Patty Gervais (Matt), and nephew, Paul (Kim) Christie. Jim was born and raised in Windsor, resided in Tilbury for many years before moving to Chatham, and most recently resided at Caleb Village. He was a carpenter by trade, a Ham Radio Operator VE3 HAY, and a member of the Blind Bowlers League, Chatham. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will take place at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. Interment of Cremated Remains will take place at McDowell Cemetery at a later date.
