Obituary of Jean Ross Goldhawk

Goldhawk, Jean Ross - of Ridgetown, passed away at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, on Thursday October 22, 2015, age 91. Loving wife of the late William John Goldhawk who predeceased her in January of 2003. Beloved mother of Greg Goldhawk and wife Sharon of Johannesburg, South Africa, Ross Goldhawk and wife Lynda of Rondeau, Dan Goldhawk and partner Debbie Halloran of Brantford, Valerie Paul and husband Brad of Chatham and Merril Cowan and husband the late Russell of Chatham. Grandmother of fourteen grandchildren and Great-Grandmother of eleven. Predeceased by her parents the late Robert Letourneau Irwin and Lilliam Ross MacAuley, by six sisters and two brothers. Jean was an avid reader and was instrumental in the building of the Ridgetown Library. She also worked for many years at the Southwest Regional Centre. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, Ridgetown on Monday October 26, 2015 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will then be held at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 26 George St., Ridgetown, at 11 am with Father Mariaraj Irudayam as Celebrant. Cremation to follow with interment at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ridgetown.
