Obituary of Ivan Justus Brown

BROWN: Ivan Justus - A lifelong resident of McKay's Corners, Ivan Brown passed away at Riverview Gardens on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the age of 78. Born in Harwich Township, Ivan was the son of the late Justus and Theresa (Johnston) Brown. Beloved husband of 38 years to the late Hughine (nee McLachlan). Loving father of Nancy Van Every (Reg) of McKay's Corners, David Dorion (Lori) of Mitchell and Michelle Cameron (John) of Newbury. Proud grandfather Jeremy (Kristin), Jeffrey, Kim (Mark), Lynnly (Shawn), Carli (Troy), Skye Lynn, Casey, Samantha (James) and Andrea. Great grandfather to Jillian, Jemma, Jayda, Lily; Kiya, Alivia, Lia; Landon and Avery; and Noelle. Predeceased by his grandson Justin Dorion. Brother-in-law to Marguerite and Albert Jubenville and Jim and Colette McLachlan. Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Ivan was a very talented wood worker. He was also a skilled pool player, and enjoyed many games with his friends in Florida. Ivan was a member of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015.
