Vink: Frank A resident of Chatham, Frank Vink passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on October 29, 2015 at the age of 82. Born in Wallaceburg, Frank Vink was the son of Peter A. and Anna (Vander Veeken) Vink. Beloved husband of Shirley Johnston, and the late Anna Mae Vink (2005). Loving father of Deborah & Doug Jackson of Edson, Alberta, Linda & Philip Babcock of Wallaceburg, Brenda Chiovitti of Sarnia, the late Larry Vink (1995). Dear step-father of Gary & Bonnie Blair of Chatham, Debbie & Roger Caza of Belle River, Larry & Charlene Blair of Chatham, Randy & Lois Blair of Wallaceburg, Tracy & Tom Drouillard of Byron, Stacy & Dwight Roberts of Komoka, and Todd Johnston & Emma, of Oakville. Proud grandfather of 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Dear brother of William Vink of Tupperville, and the late Rene Vink. Also survived by sister-in-law Annie Vink of Wallaceburg. Frank was a farmer in the Tupperville area for many years. He worked as a School Board Trustee for a number of years, and then acted as an Inspector for Pioneer Seed for 17 years. He was a long time member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 42 Croydon Street, Chatham. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham. Donations made in memory of Frank to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
