Obituary of John Douglas Summers Barlow

BARLOW: John Douglas Summers - A former resident of Highbanks and Kenesserie Rd., and most recently Shrewsbury, John Barlow passed away at his home on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the age of 64. Born in Chatham, John Barlow was the son of June (Waterhouse) Easton (late Bev) and the late Douglas Summers Barlow . Loving father of Brooke Arnett (Aaron) of Everett and Brigan Barlow (Jan) of Chatham. Proud grandfather of Elliot and Annika Arnett and Lyndon and Oliver Barlow. Dear brother to Victoria Barlow of Calgary, AB, Susan Lefeuvre (John) of Collingwood and Keith Barlow of Amherstburg. Dear friend to Sue Ireland of Chatham. Also missed by Candice Barlow. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. John was a wooden boat enthusiast, and will be remembered for his love for Lake Erie. He will be missed by his friends at the KBD Club and "Church" in Chatham. In keeping with John's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
