Obituary of Mary Thibault

THIBAULT, Mary (Maria) Formerly a resident of Ridgetown, passed away at Meadowpark Nursing Home, Chatham, on Tuesday November 3, 2015 at the age of 91. Born in Pobedim Czechoslovakia, daughter of the late Florian and Victoria (Miklas) Miklovic. Beloved wife of the late Victor Thibault who predeceased her in 2009. Dear mother of Bonnie Cylwa and Val of Kelowna, B.C., Bernadette Morrell and Rae of Chatham, Victoria Everett and Cal of Vancouver, B.C., and Paul Thibault of Woodstock. Loving Grandmother of Mark Cylwa (Sue Cubberley), David Cylwa, Alessia Morrell, Ken Morrell (Krystle Michie), Kevin Everett and Nicholas Everett. Great-Grandmother of four. Predeceased by brothers Joseph and Louis Miklovic. Mary was a lifetime member of the Catholic Women’s League of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ridgetown. She was best known for her love of baking, sewing, crocheting and embroidery. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. E., Ridgetown on Saturday November 7, 2015 from 9:00– - 10:30 a.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be then held at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, 26 George St., Ridgetown, at 11 a.m. with Father Leslie as Celebrant. Reception to immediately follow at the church. Burial following the reception at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Ridgetown. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Mental Health Association – Chatham Kent Branch by contacting the funeral home.
