Obituary of Donald Pollard

Pollard, Donald Frederick - of RR1 Merlin, passed away on Sunday November 8, 2015, age 84. Loving husband of Donna (nee Chittick) for 56 years. Beloved father of Jim (Lucy) of RR1 Merlin, Janet (Don) Thompson of RR1 Blenheim, and David (Michelle) of RR1 Merlin. Grandfather of seven. Brother of Audrey (late Bruno) Casanova, Connie (late Clare) Brown, Clara (Leonard) Stacey, and Alan (Donna Jean M) Pollard, and the late Ruth (surviving Fabian) Bandoni. Also predeceased by his parents, Fred and Vera (nee Mancell) and brother-in-law Gordon Chittick. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Thursday Nov. 12, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and the Memorial Service will be held on Friday Nov. 13, at 11 a.m.. A private burial will be held at Arnold Cemetery. Donations in memory of Don may be made to the CKHA - Digital Imaging Equipment or the Chatham Christian School would be appreciated by contacting the funeral home.
