Obituary of Marie (Mary) Ilene Hendrickx

HENDRICKX, Mary: A resident of Eden Villa Assisted Living and Retirement Home, Chatham, and formerly of Oxley Drive, passed away at Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Monday November 9th, 2015 at the age of 90. Born in Chatham, Mary was the daughter of the late Frank and Susie (DeDecker) Vercouteren. Beloved wife of the late Ray Hendrickx (1996.) Loving mother of Helen Wilcox (the late Ron), Chatham, Judy Goldhawk (Mike), Cambridge, and Connie Marchetti, Chatham. Grandmother to Laurie Bas (Brad), Rhonda Rice (James), Jeff and Ken Goldhawk, Rachel, Amanda and Shawna Marchetti. Great-grandmother to Luke Bas, Hailey Rice, and Mackayla Marchetti. Dear sister to Shirley Fraser and June Dutry. Predeceased by sisters Madeliene Haest and Erma McKeon. Sister-in-law to Phyllis Pinder, Robert Hendrickx and Verna Letourneau, and the late Ruth Wardle, Sylvia Brown, Dorothy Smith and Florence Allard. Mary belonged to The Will of the Wisp euchre card club for over 40 years, and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Chatham.
