Obituary of William Laforet

Laforet, William Thomas “Bill” - Passed away peacefully after a short illness on November 10, 2015. Born October 4, 1951 in Chatham, he was the beloved son of the late Frank and Laura Laforet (nee Primeau). Bill is survived by his loving brother Dan (Cathy) and sister Mary Ann Stokes (Larry). He is predeceased by his brother John (1963). Proud uncle to Sarah Nichols (Steve), Amy Laforet, Michael Stokes (Natalie) and Laura Stokes-Crain (Jamie) and eight great nieces and nephews. A graduate of DeVry Institute, Bill always had an insatiable interest in all technologies and sciences. His home and garden were always his favourite pastime. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Wednesday November 18, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday November 19, at 11 a.m. with Gabriella Cutler a Officiant. Burial to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Chatham-Kent Hospice by contacting the funeral home.
