Obituary of Garnet 'GLEN' Jack

JACK, Glen A resident Dover Township, Glen Jack, passed away suddenly surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham. Born in Chatham 69 years ago, son of the late Garnet and Grace Jack. Beloved husband to Betty Jean for 28 years. Loving father to Michael Dittmer. Cherished grandpa to Bryar Jack Dittmer, and Brenna Grace Dittmer. Brother to Robert Jack (Barbara), brother-in-law to Sandra Vince. Uncle to Kim, Kevin, Michael, Jordynn, Megan. Glen was the Past President of the Michigan Sugar Beet Association. He operated along side his brother Robert in the operation of Jack Farms which has been a family operation for over three generations. Glen was a devoted family man and also an innovative pioneer in all aspects of farming. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
