Obituary of Elizabeth Westrik

Westrik, Elizabeth Egbertje (Betty), a resident of Chatham, passed away suddenly on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at the age of 72. Born in Enschede, The Netherlands, daughter of the late Gerrit and Alice Westrik. Dear sister of Sienie (Garnet) Matthews, Chatham and Margaret (Marvin) Zondervan, Chatham. Beloved aunt of Alison (James) VanGorkum; Karen (Mike) VanderLaan; Alan (Kim) Zondervan; Daniel (Stephanie) Zondervan and Laura (Rich) Matthews-Butler. Also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews. Betty was a 42 year employee of CLAC working both in Toronto and Chatham. She retired in 2009. Betty was a dedicated volunteer at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Toronto Rehab), Toronto, Neighbour Link and Loads of Love, Chatham. Betty lived a vibrant life and enjoyed travelling around the world.
