Obituary of Margaret Josephine Chrysler

Chrysler: Margaret Josephine (nee Tamblyn) - A resident of Chatham, Margaret Chrysler passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the age of 87. Born in Hullett Township, Margaret was the daughter of the late Francis and Elva (Manning) Tamblyn. Beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob" Chrysler (1998). Predeceased by her brother Jack Tamblyn and his wife Dorothy. Sister-in-law to Marion Archibald (the late Don Archibald) of Chatham, and John Chrysler (Mary) of California. Loving aunt to Kevin Tamblyn of Bowmanville, Suzanne Montgomery (Grant) of Warren, Sue Archibald (Garth Pritchard), Calgary, Ruth Archibald (Mike Romiscon), Chatham, Paul Chrysler (Lori) of California, Diane Rae (Kevin) of California, Wendy Chrysler of California, Maureen Chrysler of Alaska, and Mark Chrysler of Utah. Predeceased by nephew David Chrysler. Great-aunt to Derek Montgomery, Allison Montgomery, Patrick Tamblyn, Pari Chrysler, Matthew Rae and Josh Rae, Garret Chrysler, and Gabrielle Chrysler. Margaret was a lifetime member of the Chatham Camera Club and a member of Sydenham Field Naturalists. She was also an extremely active member of St. Andrew's United Church and the UCW, and often ran the projector for church services. She was a talented photographer, and enjoyed traveling to exotic parts of the world. She participated in many activities at the Active Lifestyle Centre in Chatham, including bridge and Fun Theatre. Margaret retired from Heinz after many years of service and started a second career with her husband Robert Chrysler at W.A. Chrysler and Son Beekeeping Supplies. Family and friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Mark Perry officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Donations made in memory of Margaret to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
