Obituary of Leonard Gillier

Gillier: Leonard Joseph - A resident of Harwich Township, Leonard passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his family at home on Sunday December 6, 2015 at the age of 79 years old. Born in Chatham, the son of the late Leo and Elizabeth (Barron) Gillier. Beloved husband of 53 years to Geri Ann (nee Masse). Survived by his two daughters, Tamara (Fernando) Cirino of Windsor, Barbara (Stanley) Smids of Thamesville, and two sons Tim (Kellie) Gillier of Harwich and Bob (Jodie) Gillier of Harwich. Brother of Loretta Reaume of Chatham. Grandfather of Bayley, Caden and Sydney; Cassandra, Carley and Corrie-Ann; Meagan, Cole and Quinn. Brother-in-law of Barbara Masse and Patricia Masse. Will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased also by his sisters Louise Chipchase and Mary Cushman. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Wednesday December 9, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be shared at (time to follow). The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday December 10th at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 180 Wellington Street West, Chatham at 10:30 am with Fr. Matt Kucharski as Celebrant.
