Obituary of Marilyn Welsh

WELSH: Marilyn (nee Poag) - A resident of The Village on the Ridge (5 years) and formerly of Orford Township, Marilyn Welsh passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with her family at her side on Tuesday, Dec 22, 2015 in her 90th year. Born in Chatham, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Orville and Marion (Delmage) Poag. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew John "Jack" Welsh (1990). Loving mother of Jacquelyn "Lynn" Beecroft (Dan) of Ridgetown, Andrew "Andy" Welsh (Noreen) of R.R. # 3 Thamesville, Susan King (George) of Ridgetown and Robert "Bob" Welsh of West Lorne. Predeceased by her infant son John Robert Welsh. Dear sister to George Poag (Jeanette) of Ridgetown, Bob Poag (Diane) of Blenheim, and James Poag (Judy) of Strathroy. Predeceased by her brother Jack Poag (late Jean) of London. Marilyn was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 21 great- children, one great-great grandson. A Private Service will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, Ridgetown at a later date. Interment Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate.
