Obituary of Elizabeth Meko

MEKO, Elizabeth "Betty" A resident of Chatham, Betty Meko, passed away peacefully with her daughter Karen by her side at the Copper Terrace Long Term Care Home on Thursday, December 31, 2015. Born in Hungary 90 years ago, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Nagy. Loving wife of the late Andy Meko Jr. (1993). Loving mother to Karen and Larry Duquette of Chatham, Diane Meko of London. Nana will be forever missed by her grandchildren Brooke and Cara Duquette. Dear sister-in-law to John and Jan Meko, Frank Horuczi. Dear aunt to John Meko Jr. (Julie), Mark Meko (JonAnn), Susan Korpan (Mike), Brenda Hinnegan (Fred), Gail Keys. Predeceased by her sister Margaret Nagy. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
