Obituary of Seifart "Sei" Kristensen

KRISTENSEN: Seifart - A resident of Chatham, Seifart Kristensen passed away in his home with his family by his side on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the age of 78. Born in Grindsted, Danmark, Seifart Kristensen was the son of the late Kristanus and Lily (Hansen) Kristensen. Beloved husband of 51years to Aase (nee Jensen). Loving father of Sonny Kristensen (Bonnie), Vivi Babich (Silvano) and Brian Kristensen (Angela) all of Chatham. Proud grandfather of Mia, Riley and Conall; Lucas, Abby and Aden; Chasitie, Jordan, Chelsie, Madison, Alexa, Austin and Hunter. Great-grandfather to Ava, Cruz, Kai, Lincoln and Carter. Predeceased by his two sisters Vita and Nancy, both of Danmark. Dearly missed by close friends Frede and Gwen Christensen of Danmark as well as many nieces and nephews. Seifart served with the Royal Danish Forces on peacekeeping duty in Germany following WWII. Seifart owned and operated Custom Masonry for many years. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 with Pastor Brent Thomas officiating. Cremation to follow. Private family interment to be held at Sunset Villa (The Danish Place) at a later date.
