RYAN, Francis A resident of Chatham, Francis Ryan, peacefully passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on January 1, 2016. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland 82 years ago, son of the late John "Jack" and Mae Ryan. Beloved husband for 48 years to Claudette Ryan. Loving father to Dan and Brenda Ryan, Brenda and Dave Pollard. Grandfather to Troy (Dominique), Tanner, Jolene, Jackie, Justin, great-grandfather to Roen, Sawyer, and Amelia. Brother to John Ryan, Joan Hogan, Sheila Gladney, Eileen Hayes, Don Ryan. Predeceased by his siblings Kate Whitty, Patsy Jackman, and great-grandson Lucas. Frank enjoyed his retirement from Motor Wheel, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
