Obituary of George LaBute

LaBute, George A resident of Chatham, George LaBute, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 81. Born in Chatham, son of the late George & Eva LaBute. Father to Mike & Diana LaBute, Mitch & Jane LaBute, Michelle LaBute, Matt LaBute. Grandpa George will be missed by his grandchildren Katie, Danica, Hiliary, Curtis, Ian, Cameron, Adam, Candice, Ryder. Brother to Mary McIntyre (Ken), Josephine Miller (the late John), Leona London (Russ), the late Bill LaBute (Karen), the late Jim LaBute. Missed by several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of the Red Cross Supportive Housing Program for many years of kind and compassionate care. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Red Cross (Supportive Housing Program) would be appreciated by the family.
