Obituary of Carol Caughy

CAUGHY: Carol Ann - A former resident of Erieau Road, Carol Caughy passed away at her residence on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Jim Caughy, formerly of Erieau Rd.. Dear mother of Jamie Caughy II (Maureen) of Tilbury, Michael Caughy of Blenheim, Richard Caughy (Cathy) of Chatham, and Jeffrey Caughy (Dawn) of Blenheim. Cherished grandmother of Joel Caughy (fiancée Melissa Renaud), Jennifer Caughy (Chris Mathieson), Sebastian Caughy Ouellette, Elizabeth Caughy, Karissa Caughy, and Kolby Caughy. Great grandmother of Scarlett Mathieson. Dear sister to Edna Teskey (late Lawrence), Jean Brodie (late Donald), the late Donald Hooker (Eilleen), the late Hazel Glanders (late Ed), the late Edwin Hooker (late Betty King). Also survived by several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Carol worked reception at H&R Block for over 40 years. She also drove bus for Blenheim Bus Lines down the Erieau Run for over 25 years. She was a member of Rebekkah Lodge, and also a member of the National Campers and Hikers Association. As per Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held at the home, 97 Wellingston Street, Blenheim on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at Bayshore.
