Obituary of Marjorie Quecken

Quecken, Marjorie Lillian; A resident of Blenheim, Marjorie Quecken passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham. Born in London England in 1935, she is survived by her husband Horst, son Glen Joseph Quecken and his wife Kim, and grandchildren Oliver and Emily. Also survived by brother Malcolm McKenzie and his wife Meribeth of New Minas, N.S., nieces Shelley and Angela. Predeceased by parents Doris and Kenneth McKenzie formerly of Greenwood, N.S. Marjorie survived the Blitz in London, England. After the war she then taught in a one room school house in Nova Scotia for one year, at age 16 fresh from High School. She then went into the Civil Service. A Graveside service will be held at a future date in Edmonton, Alberta.
