Obituary of Jean Tole

TOLE: A. Jean (nee Ward) - A resident of Blenheim, Jean Tole passed away at the Blenheim Community Village with family at her side on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the age of 96. Born in Harwich Township, Jean was the daughter of Sidney and Lottie (Walker) Ward. Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Byron Tole (1995). Loving mother of Mary Ann Goldhawk (Terry) of Blenheim. Proud grandmother of Peter Goldhawk of Windsor and Jay Goldhawk (Rebecca Plumadore) of Ottawa. Predeceased by her grandson Ian Goldhawk (1981). Dear sister to Leora Rodwell (Clarence) of Blenheim, Blanche Burke (late Frank) of Blenheim and Shirley Green (Jim) of Chatham. Predeceased by her brothers Earl, Raeburn, John and Sid. Sister-in-law to Doris Ward and Jackie Ward, both of Blenheim. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Jean was a member and Past President of the U.C.W. at Blenheim United Church, and was a member of the Ransom's Community Club and the Mary Hastings Club. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Curtis Marwood officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations made in memory of Jean to the V.O.N. or the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 185 Blenheim would be appreciated.
