JAQUES, Walter Ross It is with great sadness to announce on Wednesday April 20 2016 Walter Jaques passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Hospice. A resident of Chatham, born in Woodstock On, son of the late Ross and Marion Jaques. Beloved husband of Virginia Jaques (Smith). Father to David and Connie White. Grandpa will be forever missed by his grandchildren Jennifer and Kyle Blokzyl, Tricia and Matt Chapple as well as his great-grandchildren Bryn and Tyse Blokzyl, Cameron and Mackenzie Chapple. He also left behind his adored cat Lucky. Brother to Bill & Gail Jaques, Maurice Jaques (the late Nila), the late Rosemary Fishback (the late Fred), Cecil & Betty Ann Jaques, John & Mary Lou Jaques, and Ivy Ingold (the late Lee Roy). Walt’s greatest passion was his family and friends always putting their needs before his own. He touched the hearts of everyone that had the privilege of meeting him. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted from the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
