Obituary of Doris Ruth Anderson

Anderson, Doris Ruth - a resident of Chatham and formerly of Ridgetown passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday April 20, 2016 in her 91st year. Doris was the daughter of the late Ross and Edith (Smith) Campbell. Beloved wife of the late Fred Anderson (2005). Cherished mother of Mary Jo and Ben Sonneveld of Blenheim. Dearly loved by her grandsons Jeffrey and Justin of Mt. Brydges. Sister of the late Lloyd and the late Gladys Campbell, Joan and the late Gordon Anderson, Mary and the late Gerald Moffatt, Kathryn Campbell and Donald and Janet Campbell. Sister-in-law of the late Margaret and the late James McConnell. Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by nephew Edward McConnell. A heartfelt thank you to the caring and compassionate staff at the Chatham Retirement Resort, Victoria Hospital London and the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. Family and friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. E., Ridgetown on Sunday April 24, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday April 25, 2016 at 2pm with Rev. Wanda Burse officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
