Obituary of Nancy DeVos

DeVOS: Nancy Ann (nee Rumble) - A resident of Chatham, Nancy DeVos passed away suddenly and peacefully at her home on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the age of 78. Born in Chatham, Nancy was the daughter of the late Oliver and Mary (Capstick) Rumble. Beloved wife of 56 years to the late Rene DeVos (2012). Loving mother of Ron DeVos. Proud grandmother of Tara Speers (Joe), Ryan DeVos (Tiffany Cable) and Jennifer DeVos (Shawn Hall), all of Chatham. Great-grandmother to Joseph, Juliette, Jacob and Justin Speers; Ryker DeVos; Desiree, Aliyah and Drayson Hall. Dear sister of Norma Deturk (Rolland), Mary Ball (late Clare) and Elsie Hurst (Richard) all of Chatham. Sister-in-law to Fred Osmon (Marian). Predeceased by her siblings Gordon Rumble, Janet Osmon, Linda Lozon, Gracie Joyce and June Marie Rumble. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
