Obituary of Marion G. Woodman

Woodman: Marion G. (Miller) Marion passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday June 5, 2016 at the Chatham Kent Hospice at the age of 78. She was a resident of Chatham and was the daughter of the late Gerald and Alice (Smigielski) Miller. Beloved wife of Paul J. Woodman of Chatham. Dear mother of Cheryl Woodman-Sherwood and Herb of Chatham, Paul M. Woodman and Nancy Tremblay of Toronto, Julie Tanton and Jamie of Chatham and Jennifer Rumble and Jeff of Merlin. Proud grandmother of Joshua Woodman, Aimée, Élie and Maxence Tremblay Woodman, Jonathan and Alicia, Nicholas, and Alicia Rumble. Sadly missed by great grandchildren, Brayden and Jackson Rumble. Kind sister of Margaret Bonato of Huntington Woods, MI, USA and sister in law to Mary Murphy of Port Alice, B.C. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Walter Miller and a brother in law Gerald Bonato. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Vigil prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Matt Kucharski celebrant. Cremation to follow. Donations made in memory of Marion to the Chatham Kent Hospice or The Active Lifestyle Centre would be appreciated.
