Obituary of Gary Jewell

Jewell, William ‘Gary’ - of RR3 Ridgetown, passed away at home on Saturday June 11, 2016, age 76. Beloved husband of Marlene H. (nee Jones) for 53 years. Cherished father of David Jewell of St. Albert, Alberta, Sandra and husband Scott Brown of Merlin, and Kelly Jewell and partner P.J. Joseph of Calgary, Alberta. Grandpa of Jesse Brown and his fiancé Katrina Willard of Merlin, Kyle Brown of Merlin, and Kenyan Jewell of Calgary Alberta. Brother-in- law to Helen and Don Goens of Ridgetown, Beverly McVicar and Kevin Rumble of Blenheim, and Jean Jones of Highgate. Predeceased by his brother Harold Jewell, parents Lloyd and Alma (nee Turner). Gary was self-employed as a truck driver, transporting farm produce in Southwestern Ontario. Gary enjoyed playing cards, specifically Bridge with his friends at the Ridgetown Seniors Centre. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. E., Ridgetown, on Wednesday June 15, 2016 from 6-9 p.m.. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 16, 2016 at 1 p.m.. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown. Donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Foundation of the London Health Science Centre, the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
