Obituary of Jeffrey Watson

June 23, 1979 - June 15, 2016 It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jeffrey Robert Watson of Cedar Springs (formerly of Morpeth), just shy of his 37th birthday. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Lindsay and two adorable children Kellen and Kendall. Survived by his parents Robert and Cathy Watson. Brother Paul (Yi) Watson of Calgary and sister Felicia Watson of Edmonton. Nephews and nieces Kirk and Ashley Crow and Ethan and Jaden Watson. Uncle Howie (Tina) Holdaway of Duart and Aunt Lorraine (John) Oakes of Orillia. God Children Amber and Brennon Smith and Bevin Holdaway. In law Kim Wilson and Don McLachlan and Larry and Ann Wilson, also brother-in-laws Ryan (Laura) Wilson and Spencer Wilson. Best friend and brother from another mother Carmen Smith and his family were always in his heart. Godson of Aunt Me (Rose Marie Smith). He will be missed by many close and loyal friends and extended family. His memory of sports events, rules and regulations amazed people, also his presence at the ball games will be sorely missed. Jeff was often delivering his homemade chocolate chip cookies to friends and family. A wonderful husband, father, son and friend to all! He was the light of our lives and our world will be forever a little dimmer without him and that amazing smile in it. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. E., Ridgetown on Sunday June 19th, 2016 from 6-9pm, Monday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the East Kent Memorial Arena, Ridgetown on Tuesday at 2pm. Cremation to follow. Interment in Morpeth Cemetery at a later date. In honour of Jeff please wear your favourite hat or jersey to the funeral. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to a trust fund for Kellen and Kendall.
