Obituary of Kenneth Charles Reekie

Reekie: Kenneth Charles “K.C.” A resident of Texas, formerly of Chatham, Kenneth Reekie peacefully passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, surrounded by family, on July 4, 2016 at the age of 41. Born in Chatham, Kenneth Reekie was the son of the late Kenneth J (2011) and Harriett Reekie and Ron Rumble. Loving brother to the late Amy Lynne (1969) and Elizabeth Anne (1997) Beloved uncle of Brittany Cunningham. Dear nephew of Delores Stefina of Blenheim, Gord & Janet Reekie of B.C., George Paling of Blenheim and David Hamilton (Loretta Hope) of Chatham. Predeceased by his aunt Mary Lou Paling. Special Friend to Abby Seltzer of London and Brad and Elsie Seltzer. K.C. worked as a Logistics Coordinator for APL Logistics for 10+ years. He was an avid fan of golfing, loved to be surrounded by family and travelling the globe with his company. Family to receive friends on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. A Funeral Service to honor K.C’s life will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior with Rev. Susan Jolley officiant. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice and Loads of Love; Sewing Group in memory of K.C would be appreciated by the family.
