Obituary of Donna Jean Salisbury

SALISBURY: Donna Jean (Allison) - A lifelong resident of Chatham-Kent passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the age of 84. Daughter of the late Robert & Eva (Essery) Allison. Donna has gone to be with her beloved husband and best friend of 55 years, Edward Salisbury (June 10, 2009). Loving mother of Jay Salisbury and Mary Ann of Chatham. Proud grandmother of Matthew Salisbury and Rozzalynn of Windsor. Great-grandmother to Harrison Salisbury. One dear sister Helen & Armand Cyr of Ajax, ON. Four brothers, Raymond & Ruth Ann Allison, Murray & Rose Ann Allison of Chatham, Clarence Allison of Blenheim and Ronald Allison of Chatham. Sister-in-law to Ronald Salisbury and Brenda of Merlin. Predeceased by one brother, William (Bill) Allison (2004) and sister-in-law Barbara McCrae (2016). Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Donna was a member of the Thames Christian Fellowship congregation. Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held for Donna and Edward at Maple Leaf Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 with Rev. James Tiffin officiating. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jason Denys, Dr. John Leigh and the staff of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance 4A for their special care. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their care and compassion.
