EDWARDS: Peggy (nee McLoughlin) - A lifelong resident of Chatham, Peggy Edwards passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the age of 84. Born in Chatham, Peggy Edwards was the daughter of Terrence and Mildred McLoughlin. Mother of Shelley Kereluik (Peter) of Mitchell's Bay and Ken Edwards (Glo) of Burlington. Proud grandmother of Amy Buffone (Andrew) of London, Melissa Siepmann of Burlington and Sherrie Stainton (Matt) of Oakville. Great-grandmother of Aiden Buffone, Tyler Stainton and Caeleigh Stainton. Sister of Terry, Millie, Pat and Phyllis of Chatham-Kent and Joe of Petawawa. Predeceased by brother Bob (1972). Special friend to Carolyn, Bob and Jeanette. Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Peggy was a former Cub Leader who enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was a member of the former Royal Canadian Legion Br. 28, Chatham and was a Lady of the Moose Lodge # 1692, Chatham. Special thanks to the CCAC and to the special "Angels" from Bayshore and the PSWs that looked after her. As per Peggy's wishes, cremation has taken place.
