Obituary of Andrew Kankula

Kankula, Andrew John - Passed away peacefully on Sunday September 18, 2016 at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown, age 94. Loving husband of Margaret Kankula (nee Krisko). Beloved father of Linda Ramboer, Alan Kankula, Diane and husband Paul Skodak, Eric Kankula, and Dave Kankula. Grandfather of Denise (Brent) Campbell, Jeremy (Bella) Ramboer, Mitchell Kankula, Masen Kankula, Shaylin Skodak, Jodi Skodak, Jesse Kankula, and Krista Kankula (Brad Gregory). Great-Grandfather of Kayla, Tyler, and Ryan Campbell; and Maverick Farr. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Mary (nee Repka) Kankula and by Great-Grandson Brandon. Andrew played professional football with the Toronto Argonauts prior to enlisting in World War ll with the Canadian Army. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. E., Ridgetown, on Wednesday September 21, 2016 from 2 - 3pm with the Funeral Service to follow at the Funeral Home at 3 pm.
