Obituary of Dave MacPherson

MacPherson: Dave A resident of Chatham, Dave passed away suddenly at the Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus on November 11, 2016 at the age of 57. Born in Charlottetown, P.E. I., Dave was the son of the late John and Helena (MacLeod) MacPherson. Dave enjoyed sports, especially those involving his son Sam, his Detroit Red Wings, Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Twins. As well as travelling, reading, music and spending time with family and friends. Dave devoted his working career to the Royal Bank of Canada for 35 years. Cherished husband of Connie (White) MacPherson of Chatham. Proud loving father and best friend of Sam. Kind brother of Shirley and Peter Madorin, Stan and Heather MacPherson, Fran MacPherson (Adrian), Doug and Sandra White, Willie White, Anne and Mike Cooper, Ruth and Stephen Pickles and Carol Gallant. Special friends of Bruce and Alison, Steve and Teresa. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews, Cathy, Greg, Alex, Patti, Sean, Alex, Andrew, Sarah Marie, Josh, Emily and Jenny. Adored companion of Duffy. Predeceased by Connie's parents Lloyd and Marie White and niece Suzanne MacPherson. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends for a celebration of Dave's life at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on Wednesday November 16, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. and at the Belvedere Funeral Home, 175 Belvedere Ave., Charlottetown, P.E. I., on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. Donations made in memory of Dave to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
