Obituary of Cornelis G. Hystek

HYSTEK: Cornelis G. 'Cor'- Cornelis, a resident of Riverview Gardens, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 93 years of age. Cornelis was born in Amsterdam, Holland and was the son of the late Huibert and Cornelia Hystek. He worked for many years at Ontario Steel. Loving husband of Hendrika "Ricky" (nee Kleinveld). Dear father of Patsy Dykman, Herb and Lenny Hystek, Cory and Cindy Hystek and Michael and Lisa Hystek. Papa to Justin, Brent, Eric, Nathan, Garrett and Madison. Predeceased by sisters Toni and Puk. Survived by brothers Art, Herman, Tom and sister Angelina. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family to receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at First Reformed Church, 632 Lacroix Street, Chatham at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 with Rev. Barry Wynveen officiating. A private family interment will be held at Arnold Cemetery prior to the service. Donations made in memory of Cornelis to First Reformed Church would be appreicated.
