Obituary of Loretta Theresa Hoy

HOY: Loretta Theresa Passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the age of 88. Loretta was born in Fletcher, Ontario on December 13, 1927, daughter of the late David Hoy and Gertrude Gilhuly. Predeceased by brothers Jerome, Justin, Vincent, Bernard, John and by sisters Marion, Lenore, Genevieve, Angela and Maureen. Loretta will be loved and remembered by many nieces and nephews. Loretta was always keenly interested in her extended family and shared many good times with them. Loretta had a wealth of knowledge of family history and could always answer questions on this topic. She was known for her keen sense of humour and her kindness towards others. Loretta always cherished the many family photographs given to her over the years. This was her link to so many families and their lives. Family and friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 with Deacon Jerry Lozon officiating. Interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Merlin. Donations made in memory of Loretta to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
