Obituary of Jacqueline Ray

Jacqueline Ray, a resident of Chatham, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in her 78th year. Jacqueline was the daughter of the late John William & Thelma Maxine Flum. Loving wife of the late Allan Bruce Hickmott (1990) & the late William Franklyn Ray (1998). Dear friend of Norman Shaw. Beloved mother of Brian (Jill) Hickmott, Bruce (Linda) Hickmott, step-mother to Terry (Shawna) Ray, Helen (David) Deluzio, Sharon (Joe) Cartier & Cheryl Ray. Grandmother to Breanne, Alicia, Brook, Allan, Bryar-lee, Jordan, Courtney, Olivia, Justin, Jocelyn, Chenessa & Trevor. Great-Grandchildren to Ashlyn, Logan, Irelynd, Juliet & Liam. Jacqueline was a long-time member of Sprucedale United Church, a Past Sertoma Member, an avid golfer and a lover of baseball. Go Tigers & Jays! She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family to receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of Jacqueline’s life will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
