Obituary of Emelie Storey

Storey (Trinacty), Emelie Helen Emelie passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the age of 83. She was the daughter of the late John and Virginia (Nykolozyn) Travnik. Beloved wife of James Storey of Chatham and the late Jerry Trinacty (1980). Sadly missed by children, Jane and William Jr. Knight of Blenheim and Timothy Trinacty of Chatham and Jim's daughters, Cheryl Storey (Dave) of Kingston and Tracy Hoffman and Dan of Chatham. Beloved grandmother of Megan (Adam) Watorek, Alexander Knight, Eric Hoffman and Taylor Hoffman and 2 great grandchildren, Peyton and Brody Watorek. Kind sister of Elaine Spooner of Blenheim. Thank you to Glen and Jill Meredith for all of your care to Jim during this difficult time. A special thank you to the Chatham Kent Hospice. Words can’t express our appreciation for the compassion from Mary Jean, Nurse Sue, Angie, Mary Beth, Krystal, Amanda, MaryAnn, Kaylie and Becky. The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 180 Wellington Street West, Chatham, ON, Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. with Fr. Matt Kucharski, celebrant. Cremation to follow. Donations made in memory of Emelie to the Chatham Kent Hospice Foundation or the Community Care Access Centre Erie St. Clair would be appreciated.
