Obituary of Leopold Kimont

Kimont, Leopold - Beloved husband and father passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and daughters and in the thoughts of family in the United States, Poland, Germany, Spain, England and Switzerland on January 17, 2017 at the Windsor Regional Hospital. Born on November 15, 1944 in Czechowszczyzna, Poland to parents the late Romuald Kimont and mother Stanislawa (nee Szapiel). Husband of Elzbieta Maria (nee Rusek) for 43 years. Father of Agata, Marzena and Joanna and father-in-law of Robert and Carsten. Grandfather of Ania, Abigail and Charlotte. Brother and uncle of Andrzej and his wife Jola and their children Marcin and Natalia. Brother of Janusz and his wife Gosia and their children Agnieszka and Dorota. Brother-in-law of Zbyszek and his late wife Anna and their children Dominika and Dorota. Special nephew and cousin of Zygmund Szapiel and cousin of Dorota Davis and Marzena Stasinska. He is missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St., Ridgetown on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 1:30-2:30pm. The Funeral Mass will then be Celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 26 George St., Ridgetown, at 3pm. Cremation to follow.
