Obituary of Darlene Foran

FORAN : Darlene Nancy (nee MacDonald) - A resident of Chatham and formerly of Essex and South Woodslee, Darlene Foran passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with family at her side on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the age of 66. Born in Chatham, Darlene was the daughter of the late Reginald and Jackie (Kendall) MacDonald. Beloved wife of the late John Foran. Loving mother of Chad Foran of Belle River. Proud grandmother of Brayden and Evan Foran. Dear sister to Marie Gilhula (Ken) of Lighthouse Cove, Reg MacDonald (Kathie) of Chatham, Dale MacDonald (Karen) of Chatham and Sandy MacDonald of Windsor. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Predeceased by Fred, her pet parrot of 40 years. Darlene retired from teaching after over 35 years of service. She especially enjoyed the 20 years she spent working at the Children's Rehab Centre in Windsor (now the John McGivney Centre). Darlene loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and crosswords. As per Darlene's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London at a later date.
