Obituary of Robert Bowes

A resident of Chatham, Bob Bowes passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the age of 84. Born in Chatham, son of the late Robert & Edith Bowes. Loving husband of the late Barbara Bowes (2015). Caring Father of Scott (Nancy); and Dan (Janice). Dear Grandfather of Tara (Pat); Lisa; Devon; Jake; Danielle; Ben and Dylan. Gramps to 6 Great grandchildren. Brother of Garry (Cavelle) Bowes of Ottawa. Bob retired from Navistar after 36 years, & Daymond Industry after 10 years, of service. Throughout his years, he thoroughly enjoyed swimming, bowling and shooting pool at the Active Lifestyle Centre, where he will be fondly remembered. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at a later date.
