Obituary of Nancy Marie Kormendy

KORMENDY: Nancy Marie A lifelong resident of Blenheim, Nancy Kormendy passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side in the early morning of Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the age of 50. Nancy was predeceased by her father John Kormendy, her mother Mary Huckle and her stepfather Harold Huckle. Loving spouse of 27 years to Mark DeLaet. Cherished mother of Steven DeLaet and Sara DeLaet, both of Blenheim. Dear sister to Helen Reeves (Tom Hazlett) of Blenheim. Predeceased by her brother Tom Kormendy. Also missed by friends and extended family. Nancy was a member of St. Mary's Church in Blenheim. She had worked at Thompson's for over 32 years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 95 Marlborough Street N., Blenheim at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
