Mackenzie, Jean Mary Passed away at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown, on Wednesday March 8, 2017, in her 95th year. Born on September 28, 1922, Montreal Quebec, to the late Robert Mackenzie and Georgina (nee MacLennan) of Cheshire England. Beloved wife of the late Alec Stevenson (December 1949 of Ridgetown and Shillington). Divorced from the late Redvers G. Mackenzie of Montreal Quebec. Loved mother of Gordon Stevenson (Jay Chappell) of Williams Lake, B.C., Irene Stevenson of Brossard Q.C., Andrew (Leanne nee Rose) Mackenzie of Naperville, IL, USA, and Elizabeth Mackenzie-Hill of Eastern Passage, N.S.. Grandmother of Jean and Tara Latremouille; Heath and Steven Stevenson; Drew and Emily Mackenzie; and Georgina, Christina, and Janet Hill. Great-grandmother of eight. Sister of Ken Mackenzie of Ste Anne de Prescott, O.N.. Sister-in-law of Moyra Mackenzie of St. Lambert Q.C. and Marge McNear of Blenheim. Cherished Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Ian, Ross, Lorna Fulkerson, Allan, and sister-in-law Muriel Campbell. A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Saturday June 10, 2017 at 11am. Burial of cremated remains to be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
